This abstract painting is called "Bright Night," I named it that because of the bright warm and cool colors that I used in the background. Also the dark branches, the bird and butterfly, represent the night park. I'm impressed by how I used value in the background with the rainbow colors  fading into each other. I could've done a little better balancing the colors in the sky. Although I do like how I sprinkled salt onto the painting to create some kind of texture in the sky. I did contrast this painting really well by adding the black branches, the bird and the butterfly. When looking at the painting i wanted emphasis and the bird is what catches your eye first. I drew the bird really well. Overall I did really good on this painting and I know in the future I can learn from my mistakes.
