For my last painting in this class, I decided to paint a penguin. I used mostly a cool color scheme with the blue sky and white clouds. In the picture, the penguin was standing on rocks that were a variety of colors. I included value with the colors of rocks going from dark to light. I also believe that I did great by adding texture in the rocks making them look rough. I mostly tried my best to created emphasis with the penguin, because that is the main focus of the whole painting. As you loos at my painting you can tell that I contrasted it well with the black and grey rocks against the light blue sky, also with the black and white penguin in the middle. Overall, I liked this painting the most, because I felt like I tried my best to include everything I learned.
