Water color choice of subject

I decided to do a painting of "The Statue of Liberty." In this painting I used a cool color when painting the actual statue and I used a neutral color when painting the base of the statue. I love how the base of the statue kind of has texture because of the stone brick look I created. I'm impressed by how I used depth in this painting by painting the black background. I tried to contrast the statue by making the green color stand out from the dark background. I believe I also balanced my picture well, by centering the statue right in the middle. Overall I believe I did okay, although this was a tough painting because of all the details.
