This is a painting of "Northern Lights." This was pretty challenging but overall I believe I did pretty good. In this painting I used cool colors. I used value with the dark blues interfering with the light colors in the sky to create a realer look. I believe I used space really well by making sure the lights in between the rocks were centered. I love how I contrasted this pic by adding the dark rocks on the sides to give it that night look. I also believed I used rhythm by reflecting the colors in the sky onto the water and making the water look like its moving.
